Meet Laurent, Our Vineyard Manager at Château Carqueiranne
After a 12-year career in the army, Laurent returned to his agricultural roots, earning a Brevet Professionnel de Responsable d’Exploitation Agricole (vocational diploma in farm management), with a focus on viticulture and oenology. Passionate about vine cultivation, he joined Château Carqueiranne in January 2024.
As Vineyard Manager, Laurent oversees both the technical and administrative aspects of the estate. He is responsible for all activities related to mixed farming — from selecting vine treatments to managing staff.
What drew him to Château Carqueiranne? The scale of the challenge. The estate’s ambitious restoration project offers him a unique opportunity to apply his expertise in an exceptional setting, alongside a close-knit and motivated team.
A true sea lover, Laurent enjoys water sports and takes full advantage of the region’s natural beauty.

Meet Jean-Luc, our second vineyard manager at Château Carqueiranne
Originally from Burgundy, Jean-Luc holds a BTS in viticulture and oenology.
For 25 years, he managed his own vineyard while restoring a manor house to offer bed and breakfast accommodation. Later, he and his wife moved to the South of France in search of new adventures.
What attracted him to Château Carqueiranne? The scale of the project and the warm, collaborative spirit of the team. Energised by the challenge, Jean-Luc is thriving in this unique and dynamic environment.
Working alongside Laurent, Jean-Luc joined the team in September 2024. He is responsible for vineyard maintenance and also oversees the development of the château’s landscaped surroundings.
Outside of work, Jean-Luc is a true Mediterranean enthusiast. Whether on boat trips or scuba diving excursions, he loves exploring the natural treasures of this stunning region.

Meet Hélène, our versatile technician at Château Carqueiranne
Born in the Paris region and raised in Savoie, Hélène made Carqueiranne her home 20 years ago.
A nature lover and avid sportswoman, she enjoys the outdoor lifestyle this region offers — a place she feels deeply connected to.
Before joining the château in 2023, Hélène worked in market gardening after a 15-year career in the restaurant industry. Today, she brings her experience in both agriculture and events to the estate, helping with vine care and supporting the organisation of events.

Meet Greg, Our Versatile Technician at Château Carqueiranne
A native of our beautiful region, Greg joined the team in March 2024. A true nature enthusiast, he loves exploring the area’s diverse landscapes and indulging in one of his greatest passions: hunting.
With over 10 years of experience in the wine industry, Greg initially focused on vineyard maintenance. He later transitioned into garden maintenance, where he developed a new set of skills.
What drew him to Château Carqueiranne? The diversity of the role. For the past several months, he has been working alongside Hélène to care for the estate’s green spaces.
